RBS Gala - Hilton Metropole Hotel

This set was built in March 2007 for MCM Productions Ltd whose client was RBS Corporate Banking.
The set was constructed of plywood on a softwood frame with polycarbonate sheets to create lightboxes .
It was built and painted at our workshop in Southampton, transported to the Hilton Metropole Hotel
in Birmingham and erected on site.

Ice Cave Christmas Dinner & Dance

The idea of this theme was to turn the function room of the hotel into an Ice Cave for a dinner and dance for a period of several weeks over Christmas .
This was achieved by making wall hangings that had material built up in layers with the top one crinkled up,highlighted with a mixture of uv and white paint.
The top pelmet was made to look like icicles and painted with uv paint and lots of silver glitter.

Blue on Blue Set for Haymarket Theatre - Basingstoke

To create a desert for this play the whole of the stage and orchestra pit were covered with textured painted boards.Polystyrene had to be carved to create rock steps and everything sprinkled with real sand.

Hayfever/Round and Round the Garden Set - Haymarket Theatre

Hayfever set doubled sided on trucked units, to turn around and become the garden set.

This 3 metre x 6 metre backcloth of Sunflower Valley was painted for Alton Towers Theme Park

Wind in the Willows Set - Haymarket Theatre

This set was built for the Haymarket Theatre in Basingstoke.
It comprised of several sections including a trucked Bandstand, a summerhouse that converted into a station, the Toad Hall frontage, trucked railings/pillars and gate, a real swimming pool built into the forestage.

Fifis Cottage - Queens Birthday Party for children at the Palace

This large watering can was constructed from plywood formers and covered in skin ply.It was then fibreglassed to strengthen and make it waterproof.
The can was make in sections so it could be transported and setup at Buckingham Palace for the childrens garden party to celebrate the Queen''s 80th birthday.
